I love things that age well

Never in my wildest dreams did I entertain the idea that I would become a fashion designer. A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. I was the first person to have a punk rock hairstyle. War taught me that not everything is glamorous. You're only as good as your last collection, which is an enormous pressure.
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. Fashions fade, style is eternal. Grunge is a hippied romantic version of punk. Men have got more of a discerning eye. They appreciate cut and details, things that aren't so obvious. They like things that have cachet and gentlemanliness.

Those fashion designers are just crazy

My dresses are very reasonably priced, for dresses that are cut on the body. I don't care about money. I really don't care. I just want to do what I do. I get ideas about what's essential when packing my suitcase. I believe in comfort. If you don't feel comfortable in your clothes, it's hard to think of anything else. Fashion is made to become unfashionable.
Those fashion designers are just crazy; but aren't we all? Sometimes the simplest things are the most profound. It's a philosophy of life. A practice. If you do this, something will change, what will change is that you will change, your life will change, and if you can change you, you can perhaps change the world. I have my permanent muses and my muses of the moment. I truly believe that philanthropy and commerce can work together.
